About the design:
Choosing joy is easy when things are easy. Choosing joy in the slowest of the three lines at the grocery store is a little more challenging. Choosing joy through heartache is even harder still, yet when James talks about considering it pure joy when you face trials, he isn't talking about choosing joy in certain situations, but in all. He even takes it a step further by saying "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds" (James 1:2) That is hard to do.
When the trials will come, will you consider them joy? Will you respond with joy? I know that's how I want to respond whether it's something big or small. Seeing the phrase "Choose Joy" on my shirt helps me remember to respond that way. I hope it does the same for you because I believe that God uses our response of joy to shine the brightest light to those around us. Shine bright by choosing joy, and you will see hearts and minds won to Christ!
